One of the Multitude of Bus Ladies

Every weekday on my late morning ride from Queens to Manhattan I am joined by at least a handful of women "of a certain age". Sometimes alone, but often in pairs, they head into the City... to shop? to see doctors? to visit with friends? I do so wonder.
